This apartment is an homage to Simone’s mother, Rosa. Born here in 1926, she left this quiet seaside town for Milan—too small for her extroverted, vibrant, curious spirit. There, she became a model for famous artists like Achille Funi and Giannino Castiglioni.
This apartment was Simone’s family summer residence for decades. When we refurbished it in 2023, we kept Rosa’s joyful energy alive in every room.

Casa Rosy is in a quiet, central location in Diano Marina—just 150 meters from both the beach and the town center. The apartment is in a residential building overlooking a beautiful garden. Despite being so central, you’re tucked away from traffic and street noise.

Private Parking: A Rare Luxury
Casa Rosy includes private parking in the building’s secure courtyard. During summer high season on the Ligurian coast, this is one of the most appreciated luxuries you can have.
What Makes This Space Special
The star of Casa Rosy is the spacious terrace—perfect for quiet evenings dining outside.
Inside, our family’s artistic spirit is everywhere. You’ll find brightly colored geometric abstracts by Simone’s father, a portrait of Rosa, several paintings by Sara, and in the main bedroom, the jewel of the collection: Andreas’s only painting. (We suspect our son thought: why create more when you’ve reached perfection? 😊)
Vintage furniture and porcelain from our family add warmth throughout—pieces Rosa herself chose decades ago.
The Bedroom: Rest & Recharge
The main bedroom opens directly onto the large terrace, shared with the living room.
The second bedroom overlooks the peaceful interior garden and has its own sunny balcony—perfect for starting your day with morning coffee in the sun.
Both rooms have comfortable beds and blackout shutters for a great night’s sleep.
The Terrace: Your Outdoor Living Room
The terrace is truly the heart of Casa Rosy. It’s spacious, sunny, and equipped with everything you need for Italian outdoor living: a dining table and chairs, umbrella for shade, two wooden reclining chairs, and a sun lounger.
Guests love spending their mornings here with coffee, their afternoons reading in the sun, and their evenings dining under the stars. (Simone learned to ride his tricycle here and spent hours playing on this terrace every summer as a child.)
The Kitchen: Simple and Functional
The kitchen is modern and compact, with everything you need: induction cooktop, microwave oven, and fridge. You’ll find all the essentials for cooking your favorite meals.
Note: There’s no traditional oven or dishwasher, but here’s the local secret—Diano Marina has amazing shops where you can buy fresh lasagne, homemade ravioli, and other ready-made Italian specialties. Many guests tell us they love this way of eating well without spending hours cooking!
The Living Room
The living room opens onto the big terrace and features a comfortable sofa bed, expandable dining table and chairs, TV, and mid-century vintage furniture. You’ll find a guitar waiting for musically inclined guests, plus puzzles and games for cozy evenings in.
The Bathroom
Two bathrooms make life easier, especially for families or groups.

Casa Rosy welcomes families! The spacious layout gives everyone room to spread out, the two bathrooms mean no morning traffic jams, and we have a high chair available. The quiet residential location means peaceful evenings after busy beach days.
The terrace is wonderful for family meals and relaxation.
The beach is just 5 minutes away, shops and restaurants are steps from your door, and everything in Diano Marina is safely walkable.
