This apartment takes inspiration from Simone’s rebellious spirit. His mother Rosa called him “bastian contrario” – an Italian saying for someone who does exactly the opposite of what he’s told. So here we’ve mixed genres, used lots of color, and created a happy, uplifting, loving space – which is exactly how I would also describe my husband.

Where You'll Stay

We’re in a residential neighborhood, just a 10-minute walk from Milano Centrale station. The area is authentic Milan, with local cafes, trattorias, and daily life happening around you. [Learn more about our location and neighborhood.

Private Parking: A Rare Luxury

This apartment includes private parking in a garage only a 2-minute walk (170m) from the apartment. In central Milan, this is one of the most appreciated luxuries you can have.

What Makes This Space Special

This apartment features meaningful art pieces. You’ll see brightly colored geometric abstracts painted by Simone’s father. Every Sunday for decades, he went to his little studio in Navigli to paint and discuss art with his friends from the concrete art movement.

We’ve included vintage pieces from our own family to create that homely feeling. The play of color makes the vibe complete.

The Bedroom: Rest & Recharge

The bedroom has a dark blue accent wall. The eye-catcher is a large pink art piece that says “Come back to bed please.” You’ll find a comfortable queen-size bed and a small desk for work or study.

Kitchen & Living Room

To create the happy, uplifting, loving space we wanted, we’ve used soft greens and pink with a pop of black. At night, turn off the lights and let the neon sign glow. It creates a warm pink light and tells you exactly what we want you to know: YOU are amazing.

Cooking at Home

You’ll have the essentials: microwave oven, induction cooktop, fridge and freezer, and a traditional Moka pot for espresso. You’ll find tableware, pots and pans, and even a little electric whisk to froth milk for cappuccinos.

Traveling with Kids?

We’ve got you covered. The little ones have their own tableware, a high chair, a cot, and even a foldable bathtub and toilet adapter if you need it.

The Bathroom

The bathroom has an exclusive feel with beautiful blue tiles, pink accessories, and a comfortable walk-in shower, toilet, and bidet.
